Session 29 - Castle Naerytar Liberation

Summary
We rejoin the party with a Lizard Folk revolution raging outside, and an ominous message not to proceed up the ladder of the room they are in. So here we go up the ladder! They are greeted by three specters who seem interested in protecting a star scroll left on a table. It doesn't appear to have magical properties, other than to very specific collectors. Both astrologists and true crime fans, since this castle once served as a school of astrology until one of the teachers flipped out and murdered the students. They vanquished the specters and secured the scroll. Back down the stairs to check in with the Lizard Folk, who they assist with taking out some bullywugs. The Lizard Folk let them know if they are looking for anything of interest, they best check out Rezmir's room. Rezmir being the dragon lady frequently identified as the Boss in cultist affairs. Her room has some hefty traps and locks, and is very well-appointed but empty. Except for her cultist robes, and a journal. In it, she laments the losses she's taken on this quest to raise Tiamat (aka, the specific people the party has killed and things the party has destroyed) and takes solace that the world will soon burn. There is one single word circled, "draezir."
The party makes their way back downstairs and decides to investigate the one area they haven't yet, which leads to an underground cave system. In it, they find the leader of the Bullywogs, Pharb Splattergoo, holding court in a makeshift temple. He seems to be making up a religion as he goes along. Pulling shit out of their ass is Shade's speciality, so she joins the fun. It seems to be going OK, as these things go, until she insinuates the God Kermit and Goddess Camila do not actually want them to take Castle Neytar, that the gods would prefer the Bullywugs live in peace. This directly contradicts what Pharb has been preaching as the message, and in a panic, they attack. The group is defeated and the group decides to take a long rest in his apparent quarters.
