	This week the gang went shopping! And got the scoop on Parnast and [[Skyreach Castle]]. Parnast has been pretty much taken over by the cult’s operation for about a year. Most people seem to be kinda OK with it, there’s a lot of loot coming through of course, but the gang meets a Wagon Repair Guy named Odin who isn’t too pleased with the arrangement. Recognizing the party as outsiders, and emboldened by their report that Talis is dissatisfied as well, he assists the party in getting into the castle without much issue. Which, by the by, is made of ice. And flies.
	The party plays up their “it’s our first day on the job!” cover story as they bumble around, opening any door they come across as the castle gets prepared for flight. Here is most of what they learned.

	~~The loot gets stored in the basement of the castle, which is more like an al fresco cave. Also sleeping in the cave is an adult white dragon.~~

	And then the castle takes flight, rising out of the ground with an accompanying dip in temperature and discomforting feeling. The dragon leaves the cave, which when out of the ground, is a giant gaping hole in the side of the castle’s foundation, and flies ahead.

	Uncertain on what to do next, Bechamel has a chat with his maybe frenemy Azbara Jos. Jos is at an impasse with his elder wizard, Roth Mordan. Mordan is convinced that the rise of [[Tiamat]] is an opportunity to seize the power they need to take back their home country of Thay. Jos is now wholly convinced this entire plan is very stupid, that no one is in control of the situation now and certainly will not be in the future state of a giant five headed demon goddess running amuck. He thinks the more useful magic is the portal magic the cult is employing. He hasn’t been able to crack it. He gives Bechamel some intel and says he is willing to offer some additional assistance if he can get him some good leads on the portal magic. For now, he shares that the vampire seems to have some kind of agreement in place with Rezmir and is officially on security, though few seem to fully trust this means she won’t eat them. The force that moves the castle does not read to him as magic, but instead, feels like a presence. It seems to be connected to Bernie, but feels separate from Bernie.
