	The gang has a statue that can answer questions, so they ask it a bunch of questions and find out the motor running the castle is a ghost. Shade can communicate with ghosts, so she finds out the ghost's name is Escarlotta and she is the former wife of giant Bernie. Bernie is the pilot and Escarlotta is going along with it because she wants to support Bernie's hobbies. If the castle is destroyed, Escarlotta will be released from this realm but she doesn't want to go without Bernie. They also asked the statue about the portals. Talis the White makes the portals. This info is shared with Asbara Jos, who may or may not be able to bail from the castle if shit goes sideways for him. However, he's got his own boss to deal with. The gang decides to steal some loot from the dragon while it's not in the castle. They steal a bunch of blue saphires that were in a chest. Nothing there was really trapped or guarded, likely because a dragon takes care of that, and he knew immediately someone was was fucking with his stuff when he comes home to roost for the evening. He calls everyone out and demands its return. Bechemel plants a sapphire in Rezmir's pocket and accuses her, but rather than addressing that in front of everyone, Rezmir, wearing a dragon mask, is able to talk the dragon down. She gives "the real killer" an opportunity to return the sapphires by morning or she doesn't give a shit who the dragon kills. The gang dumps the sapphires back at the foot of the cave, and heads to the cultists chambers to sleep.

	Except the cultists find it extremely sus that there is an incident with loot stealing immediately after some new guys join and that the new guys were certain their boss Rezmir was the culprit. The stakes are pretty high here, the dragon will be allowed to snack on all of them until the culprit is found (or not!), so the cultists were not satisfied with the party's attempts to explain. They attack.
