Thundertree is a ruined village standing on the edge of the [[Neverwinter Wood]], northeast of [[Neverwinter]]. Once a prosperous logging and farming community, it was destroyed decades ago when the eruption of [[Mount Hotenow]] blanketed the region in ash and drove its survivors away. In the years since, nature — and darker things — have reclaimed its ruins.
