In [[Session 45 - The Mind Gobbler|Session 45]], Deez Nuts and the Bronze Blades descended into the Underdark passages after clearing Garmok's Mine. They encountered the Mind Gobbler aberration and the drow researcher, who warned them about the aboleth and other dangers.

The party learned that deep gnomes live somewhere in these tunnels and could potentially help create a safe exit to the surface through their stonework expertise.
