Corwyth Skarn
Corwyth Skarn is a senior figure in the Talons of Veylan, the dragon-hunting wing of the Emerald Enclave, and the elder who assigned Keyleth her cell — Talonfall — on her elevation to Scaled Bane.
What the company knows
Very little firsthand. Nobody in Deez Nuts has met him. He sent five people, a hawk, and a letter, and the letter is the whole of the acquaintance so far.

He closed by telling Keyleth she had done well by the order, and that easing Veylan's spirit was a debt the Talons owed and she had paid.
The Brannoc posting
When the Harpers' account of the burnings reached the Talons, Brannoc Yew asked for the sites before Corwyth had finished reading the thing through. Corwyth granted it, and told Keyleth plainly why: Brannoc's people, the Yewbank of the Misty Forest, wintered close enough to Thornwild Court that his grandmother's generation were the ones who went in and buried what could be buried. For eighty-six years the Yewbank believed it had been a dragon's rampage that nobody could put a name to. The Harper account told him it was one of eight, and that all eight were deliberate.
Corwyth's judgement was that a man with that much reason to look closely should be the one walking the ground — and he told Keyleth she could reverse the posting without argument.
Bearing
He is not a warm correspondent, but he is a scrupulously honest one. He set out the limits on what Talonfall may be asked to do before Keyleth could ask for anything, put the hard restriction in writing so it could not later be argued about, and offered standing counsel: send word before using them hard, and he will say honestly whether he thinks they will come back.
