The youngest of the blue chromatic dragons — desert-storm predators barely out of the egg, already armed with a line of lightning breath, a flying speed of 60 feet, and intelligence enough to understand speech (as Baelgrum proved when a 1st-level Command: "Halt" dropped one out of the sky in Session 53).

Two blue dragon wyrmlings flew air support for the Cult of the Dragon's undead strike force in the Battle of Nuts Deep (Session 53). One was ensnared out of the sky by Keyleth (super-inspiration auto-crit, Ensnaring Strike, Hellfire Pixies); the other was halted mid-air by Baelgrum's Command, forced to land on the wall, poisoned, and finished by Gootcha's crossbow.

Combat Notes

• CR 3 (confirmed at the table). Medium size — no rideable wingspan here.
• Lightning breath: a line of lightning; Dex save (DC 22 was quoted with situational modifiers) for 28/14 damage. It downed squire Whippoorwill in one blast; Gootcha's Evasion zeroed it.
• Flies rather than hovers — a wyrmling that cannot act can still land, but cannot stay aloft.
