The reporting Harper's letter to the company: what was faced, where, and the weight of the threat. Note how sure the circle is of what follows — a single sighting, or many.

What Bites Deepest

Vulnerabilities — what wounds it faster than steel should. Write "nothing confirmed" if none has been seen, and record guesses as guesses, never as fact.

What It Shrugs Off

Resistances and immunities — what merely glances off, and what does nothing at all. Name the kind (cold, fire, the bite of ordinary weapons), never a number.

Hard to Unfoot

What it cannot easily be made to suffer — fear, poison, exhaustion, charm, or magic it can simply refuse. The strengths of its will and its body.

Its Gifts for Murder

Signature powers — its breath, its presence, its flight, the manner in which it fights. Describe the experience of facing it, not the dice behind it.

How It Hunts

Temperament, lair, and tactics. Where it is found, and how it turns that ground against intruders.

Standing Advice

• Hard-won counsel for the next company to face it.

Knowledge Ledger

Move entries upward as they are proven; the dossier grows with the company.
