Vulnerabilities None special; it is simply not very hardy

Condition Immunities Blinded, charmed, deafened, exhaustion, frightened, prone (lore of oozes)
Strong Saves None — slow and witless
Senses Blindsight; it feels the warmth and tremor of living things, not sees them

The Harpers' Read

Barely a monster — a hungry transparent box that drifts the tunnels eating whatever it bumps. The danger is entirely that you do not see it: it is near-invisible at rest, drawn to warm sleeping bodies, and anyone who blunders into it is engulfed before they know it is there. Keep a watch that is actually watching, strike it from range, and it falls quickly. It is tough only in that it is dim and persistent, not in any real resilience.

Encounters of Record

Session 44 — The dwarven barracks

After clearing the mine of devils, a dragon, and cultists, the company bedded down to rest. Alexios stood watch but nodded off, and a cube oozed in toward the warm bodies and tried to engulf him. He twisted clear and roused the others, who finished it without much trouble before finally taking their long rest.
