Bronze Blades
Encounter with Deez Nuts
The Bronze Blades encountered the party during Session 42 - Bagpipes, Blood, and the Bronze Blades, where they demonstrated their combat prowess and tactical coordination against Cult forces.
In Session 43 - The Council of Waterdeep the relationship soured into a one-sided rivalry. At the Council of Waterdeep, the party (already resentful of the Blades for taking credit for others' work) asked Marshal Ulder Ravenguard for authority to deal with them — only to learn the Blades are Ravenguard's own Baldur's Gate–sanctioned agents working the same anti-Cult mission, and were ordered to cooperate rather than compete. Hours later, deep in Garmok's Mine, the party found the Blades being overwhelmed by a massed Cult ambush and saved them from a near-total wipe. Sir Cedric Lightbringer acknowledged the company now owed Deez Nuts a debt — a gratitude the party pointedly refused to reciprocate ("Except not us, buddy."). The Blades also confirmed, via divination, that a black dragon lurked within a few miles of the mine but could not be located, and that the scale of the Cult presence was larger than any they had ever encountered.
