Curses

Curses the party has encountered in play, and what is known about lifting them. Unlike a pact feat, a curse is not chosen and rarely traded away — it clings until a specific remedy is met.

Curse of the Eye

The Bound Sight of Gilbraxius. Once the Eye of Gilbraxius fuses with the bearer's flesh, their vision is forever twisted — mundane things blur, while magic and hidden realms of power appear with perfect clarity.

  • Mundane Blindness: Disadvantage on all Perception checks and Dexterity saving throws that rely on seeing non-magical creatures or objects.
  • Weakened Aim: −2 penalty to weapon attack rolls.

Removal: Removing the curse requires removing the Eye itself, followed by a Greater Restoration spell to regrow the bearer's original eye.

Curse of Infernal Armor

Once donned, the armor cannot be removed. Its infernal magic binds to the wearer's flesh and spirit, twisting their essence to suit the Hells.

  • Damnation's Weakness: The wearer gains vulnerability to Acid, Cold, Lightning, and Psychic damage. Radiant energy, however, does not affect them so deeply.

Removal: The armor can be removed only by a remove curse spell or by divine intervention.
