Thistle
Thistle (also known as Thistle Quickfoot in some references) is a halfling or gnome bard and member of the Bronze Blades adventuring party. Known for declaring victory in verse and performing music, Thistle serves as the party's support caster and morale booster.
Background
Thistle is the bard of the Bronze Blades, providing magical support, inspiration, and musical accompaniment to their adventures. Like their companions, Thistle sometimes overestimates the party's capabilities but remains dedicated to fighting the Cult of the Dragon.
Role in Campaign
In Session 42, Thistle was perched on a rock during the cult ambush, attempting to hide behind another party member "like a child behind a curtain." After Deez Nuts rescued the Bronze Blades, Thistle declared victory in verse—though the credit clearly belonged to the rescuers.
Shade challenged Thistle to a Battle of the Bards: lute versus dulcimer, with the crowd as judge. Both performed, and "everyone knows who won, and no one thinks either of you did well." Shade seriously contemplated turning Thistle's lute into splinters afterward.
In Session 43, Thistle was fighting for their life in Garmok's Mine alongside Sister Alira when Deez Nuts and the rest of the Bronze Blades arrived to help. During the chaotic battle, Thistle went down but was brought back by Sister Alira's Mass Healing Word.
In Session 44, Thistle continued to support the combined parties through the dragon battle, providing bardic magic and distractions while Deez Nuts dealt the heavy damage.

Personality
Thistle is theatrical and prone to embellishing their contributions in verse. Despite sometimes being in over their head, Thistle remains optimistic and continues to support their party with music and magic.

Active, traveling with the Bronze Blades and Deez Nuts through Garmok's Mine and the Underdark.
