This study is protected by powerful magical wards that keep out the dangers of the Underdark, allowing the drow researcher to conduct her investigations in relative safety. The wards have successfully protected the study for decades.

Campaign Events

In Session 45, the drow researcher offered her study as sanctuary to Deez Nuts after their battle with the Mind Gobbler. She explained that the wards around the study will keep them "absolutely safe at night" from any Underdark danger.

The researcher offered to create a Scroll of Featherfall for the party if they stayed the night, recognizing they might need it for exploring vertical passages in search of the deep gnomes or surface exits.
