Othavir
Othavir ("Otho")
Othavir — "you can call me Otho" — is the innkeeper at Boareskyr Bridge, keeper of one of the crossing's only true buildings and, since Session 54, a standing Harper source.
At the bar
Otho has run the inn for years and knows the crossing's history as well as anyone but Ostrand. He polishes mugs with a too-dirty rag, pours a fair sarsaparilla (10 silver), and warms to anyone who buys the house a round — "I like your all style." He was the party's first storyteller at the bridge: it was Otho who told them of the dwarf in purple robes who stabbed a hooded Yuan-ti spy through the eye at one of his own tables, and who led the toast to "Varram, the hero of Boareskyr Bridge."
The Harper source
After Deez Nuts unmasked the remaining yuan-ti infiltrators and killed the anathema in the street, Gootcha recruited him into "the information-sharing squad." Otho put it together himself — "Oh, the Harpers! Is that how y'all knew the yuan-ti were gonna be here?" — and signed on gladly: he now tracks what moves through Boareskyr Bridge and passes it to the network, its first standing eyes on the Trade Way north of the Chionthar. His first round for the party after the anathema fell was on the house.
