An owlbear is exactly the nightmare it sounds: a bear's bulk and claws beneath an owl's beak, and a killing temper to match. It is fearless and fiercely territorial, and once it charges it will not relent — it runs down whatever turns to flee. There is no clever trick to it, only ferocity. Meet it with massed force, leave no straggler at the edges, and never turn your back to run.
