Session 04 – Fire and Faith at Cragmaw Castle

Summary
The adventurers began this session in Phandalin, weighing their many leads before deciding to take on the challenge of Cragmaw Castle in search of their missing employer, Gundren Rockseeker. After a night of rest at the local inn, the party set off along the road, spirits high and arguments about necromancy even higher.
During the journey, Shade revealed a surprising talent — the ability to commune with the dead. Apparently, she's been traveling with the ghostly companion known as Cooter this whole time. Cooter struck up a chat with a ghoul they encountered on the road, who informed him that the dead were unusually active at Old Owl Well — but that Cragmaw Castle was, quote, kind
