Overview
The Shadowfell is a plane of existence that exists as a dark echo of the Material Plane. It is a realm of perpetual gloom where colors are muted, emotions are dulled, and death holds dominion. The Shadowfell is ruled by the Raven Queen, Goddess of Death, who oversees the passage of souls to the afterlife. The Cult of the Dragon has been stealing souls from the Shadowfell, interfering with the natural order of death.

Campaign Events
The Raven Queen made contact with Gootcha at the Temple of Lost Souls, revealing that the Cult of the Dragon has been snatching souls from the Shadowfell that rightfully belong to her. She offered Gootcha a pact: in exchange for enhanced power, Gootcha must return the souls of Rath Modar and Rezmir to the Shadowfell.
