Template:Correspondence

Template:Correspondence — the header carried by every page in Category:Correspondence. It renders the letter's sidebar and stores the letter into the Correspondence database table, which builds the ledger at Correspondence and the per-cell and per-character ledgers automatically. Create the letter page, place this template at the top, and every ledger picks it up on its own.

• date — the in-world date exactly as the record gives it, however vague. Displayed as written.
• sortkey — ordering key for the ledgers, YYYY-MM-DD with a trailing letter when several pieces share a day. Editorial furniture only; never displayed on the page.
• type — one of Letter, Note, Writ, Dispatch, Reply, Charge, Instruction.
• sender / recipient — linked names.
• summary — one or two sentences for the ledgers. Not displayed on the letter's own page.
• method — how it travelled: the hand, hawk, book, or courier that carried it.
• cell — which company cell's ledger it belongs on (the cell page's exact name), if any.
• status — optional: what answered it, what came of it, or no reply yet.
