| Arauthator freezes those who cross him into solid ice and displays them as decorations throughout his caverns. Hurum Thur was one such victim. Shortly before the climactic battle, the party thawed him from the dragon's ice, and he took up arms against his captor out of vengeance.

| In the battle against [[Arauthator]] ([[Session 49 - Old White Death (2026-04-26)|Session 49]]), Hurum Thur fought alongside the party, loosing arrows from a greatbow and bolstering his allies with a War Cry that granted temporary hit points and advantage on attacks. A hardy combatant (roughly 130 hit points), he was eventually beaten down by the dragon's onslaught.
