A year has passed since the fall of the Black Spider and the closing of the Forge of Spells. The heroes have scattered to their own pursuits, but fate — as it tends to do — has begun to weave their threads together once more.
The group reunited briefly in Phandalin, visiting their old companion Thurmin (Retired), who has taken quite comfortably to a life of brewing, delegation, and avoiding stress.
