Overview

This document details Xanphina's backstory and the revelation of her connection to the Skarhald Clan, an ancient orcish lineage that defied Tiamat and was destroyed by her command. This backstory provides context for her Ancestral Guardian barbarian powers and sets up her personal stake in the Rise of Tiamat campaign.

Xanphina's Origin Story

Birth and Adoption:

Born in the remote farming village of Hollowstone Vale, Xanphina was found as an infant by devout human settlers. She was discovered:

  • Swaddled in wolfskin
  • Cradled in the roots of a lightning-struck tree
  • Wearing a scarred bronze pendant of an unknown orcish war clan
