Hurum Thur is a frost giant freed by Deez Nuts from Arauthator's lair at Oyaviggaton, where the dragon had frozen him solid and kept him as a trophy among his gallery of frozen victims.

Background

Arauthator freezes those who cross him into solid ice and displays them as decorations throughout his caverns. Hurum Thur was one such victim. Shortly before the climactic battle, the party thawed him from the dragon's ice, and he took up arms against his captor out of vengeance.

Role in Campaign

In the battle against Arauthator (Session 49), Hurum Thur fought alongside the party, loosing arrows from a greatbow and bolstering his allies with a War Cry that granted temporary hit points and advantage on attacks. A hardy combatant (roughly 130 hit points), he was eventually beaten down by the dragon's onslaught.

Current Status

Fighting beside Deez Nuts in Arauthator's lair. When the party fell and were offered resurrection, the battle was frozen mid-moment; his fate resumes next session.
