The Harpers' Read
One of the goblinoid kin; see also Goblin, Hobgoblin, Bugbear. Unlike its cousins, a hobgoblin fights with discipline and in formation. It is at its deadliest when its fellows hem you in — a hobgoblin striking a foe already pressed by an ally hits with a soldier's practised brutality. Armoured and orderly, they hold a line and punish the careless. Scatter the formation and each becomes only an ordinary soldier.
