Written into the notebook beneath the archive filing of the same evening, from the ruined town below the ancient mage's tomb. See Session 55.
The letter
Leosin,
Your warning regarding Najara appears increasingly well-founded.
We have now confirmed organized Yuan-ti activity directed specifically at Varum. A captured operative carried a likeness of the target, and through magical observation we have verified Varum is currently held and interrogated by serpentfolk leadership.
I have found no indication yet that the Yuan-ti desire what they first appear to desire.
