Sir Cedric
Sir Cedric is a human paladin and the de facto leader of the Bronze Blades, an adventuring party operating in the Sword Coast region. Despite his group's reputation for bravado and questionable tactical decisions, Cedric is earnest in his desire to fight the Cult of the Dragon.
Background
Sir Cedric leads the Bronze Blades, a party of adventurers who fashion themselves as heroes fighting against the Cult of the Dragon. While well-intentioned, the Bronze Blades often find themselves in over their heads, requiring rescue by more experienced adventurers—particularly Deez Nuts.
Cedric was commissioned by Marshal Older Ravenguard of Baldur's Gate to investigate dragon cult activity in the region, giving the Bronze Blades official backing despite their mixed track record.
Role in Campaign
The Bronze Blades first encountered Deez Nuts in Session 42 on the road to Baldur's Gate. The party was being overwhelmed by dragon cultists when Deez Nuts intervened, saving them from certain defeat. After the battle, Cedric attempted to claim credit for the "final strike" and tried to claim the loot, though Xanphina intimidated him into sharing.
In Session 43, during the Council of Waterdeep, Shade asked if Deez Nuts could eliminate the Bronze Blades as competition. Marshal Ravenguard quickly defended them, revealing that the Bronze Blades have actually been quite effective at disrupting cult operations and ordering Deez Nuts to assist them if encountered.
Later in Session 43, the Bronze Blades were found in Garmok's Mine, again being overwhelmed—this time by cultists and a Dragonclaw. Deez Nuts rescued them once more. Cedric gratefully explained they were investigating dragon activity on Ravenguard's orders and begged for help saving the rest of his party deeper in the mine.
In Session 44, the combined might of the Bronze Blades and Deez Nuts fought through the mine together. Sister Alira's Mass Healing Word saved multiple party members (including Alexios), and Cedric used his charisma to remove fear from Keyleth during the battle with Voaraghamanthar the black dragon.

Personality
Cedric is earnest and brave, if somewhat overconfident. He tends to declare "strategic retreats" when badly losing and attempts to maintain the Bronze Blades' reputation even when reality proves otherwise. Despite this, he genuinely cares for his companions and is grateful to those who help them.

Active, working with Deez Nuts in Garmok's Mine and the Underdark below. Last seen fighting alongside the party against the Mind Gobbler in Session 45.
