Harvested Materials

A running ledger of crafting components the company has cut from slain monsters and banked for later work. Components are spent as Craft Value (CV); the harvesting rules are at Monster Harvesting.

September 2026: the ledger was re-adjudicated under the new carcass-first manifest rules — full manifests were generated for every creature harvested to date, and past rolls re-scored additively (rarity-and-below sweeps, plus the beat-ceiling-by-10 prize rule). Nothing previously banked was removed; the retro gains are noted per carcass below.

How to read this table

For each item type, a component is one of:

  • Primary — its effect can define that item and caps the item's rarity (only Uncommon-or-better parts qualify; Common parts carry no effect).
  • Contributor — it adds CV and structure to that item but does not set the effect.
  • — — not usable for that item type.

Bomb is a thrown area-of-effect consumable; it shares the single-use economy with potions and poisons. The crafting roll made at the bench sets each item's final quality, and for consumables how many you make.

The table is sortable: click a type column (e.g. Staff) to group every component that can anchor or feed it, read the Effect column to see what a primary would theme the item toward, and total the CV column against the build thresholds. Newly recovered on column sweeps: Cryogland Bile (R — see above), Frost-Sheened Loose Scales (UC — Baelgrum's Smith's sweeps), Ice-Vein Sinew (UC — Keyleth's Leatherworker's 22), and Bone Shards, Dragon Meat, and Hide Scraps (C). Left on the carcass at Oyaviggaton — no roll reached them: Arauthator's Soul-Ice Core (Artifact, DC 30), the Wyrm-Skull of Old White Death (Legendary, DC 25 — Baelgrum's best was 23), the Greatwing Pinion Pair (Legendary, DC 25 — Keyleth's best was 22), and Rime Crystals (UC — no jeweler). Only the Rimeforged Heart was consumed rather than banked.

Tool mappings for the longship harvests, and Keyleth's extra Leatherworker's roll on the Dragon Turtle, were one-time allowances — the column rules were settled only after the fight, and the party should not lose materials to rules made afterward.
