Ilyra Voss
Ilyra Voss is a Drow researcher who has been studying aberrations in the tunnels beneath Garmok's Mine for decades. She maintains a magically warded study where she observes dangerous creatures from a safe distance, particularly the Mind Gobbler.
Description
Ilyra is a drow woman who has dedicated decades of her life to studying the aberrant creatures that inhabit the deep Underdark beneath Garmok's Mine. Her study is filled with books, scrolls, and arcane equipment, protected by powerful magical wards that keep out even the Mind Gobbler's psychic intrusions.
Background
Ilyra has been living in the tunnels beneath Garmok's Mine for years, possibly decades, carefully studying the aberrations that dwell there. She is particularly interested in the Mind Gobbler—a psionic aberration created by mind flayer experiments. She has never confronted the creature directly, preferring to observe from the safety of her warded chamber.
