Venomfang
A young green dragon still learning what it means to be a dragon, encountered in Thundertree. Since the party's first meeting, Venomfang has developed a surprisingly cordial relationship with the group and has relocated to the Temple of Lathander.
Background
A young green dragon residing in Thundertree who is still figuring out the whole 'menacing dragon' persona. He knows dragons are supposed to hoard things and be intimidating, but his heart isn't really in the menace part yet. The party helped rid him of bothersome cultists who insisted on worshipping him.
Venomfang has proven to be more thoughtful and less violent than many of his kind. His youth and still-developing dragon nature make him more curious and open to unusual alliances than an older, more set-in-their-ways green dragon might be.
Recent Events
The Draakhorn's Call (Session 40)
When the party arrived at the Temple of Lathander (also known as the Dawn Vault) near Phandalin, they encountered Venomfang in a state of agitation. An unnatural stillness had fallen over the forest as Venomfang heard something none of the party could perceive: the Draakhorn.
The ancient horn's deep, primal call—audible only to dragons—was pulling him southeast. Venomfang described it as both a summons and a warning. The party successfully convinced him not to pursue the call immediately, and Thurman used magic to help settle his nerves and calm the dragon.
As a gesture of gratitude to Xanphina, who had called him beautiful, Venomfang gifted her a Staff of Defense from his hoard. This gift demonstrated both his appreciation for the party's kindness and his growing comfort with them.

Current Status
As of Session 40, Venomfang has relocated from Thundertree to the area near the Temple of Lathander (Dawn Vault). He has resisted the call of the Draakhorn with the party's help, though the ancient horn's summons clearly affected him deeply. He remains on friendly terms with the party and has demonstrated his gratitude through gifts and cooperation.
