• • Leosin Erlanthar** is a half-elf monk and scholar devoted to studying dragons and their cults. A senior member of the Harpers, Leosin is one of the first to recognize the scale and coordination of the Cult of the Dragon’s activities leading up to the events of *Rise of Tiamat*. His capture during the Siege of Greenest serves as a critical turning point in the campaign’s early chapters.

Background

Leosin hails from the city of Berdusk, where he was trained at a monastery dedicated to Oghma, god of knowledge. His fascination with dragons began in his youth, spurred by a vision he interpreted as a warning from the Platinum Dragon, Bahamut. Over the years, he became one of the foremost experts on draconic cults and a trusted field operative for the Harpers.

In the year 1488 DR, Leosin traveled with a group of monks to Greenest to investigate reports of cult activity. When the cult’s assault began, he and his students sought refuge in the Temple of Chantea (Greenest). During the chaos, Leosin was captured by the cult under orders from Frulam Mondath, who sought to extract intelligence about Harper operations.
