The campaign's letters, dispatches, and charges — every piece of correspondence Deez Nuts has sent or received, each kept on its own page and gathered here oldest first. The founding letters that stood up each company's cell are part of the ledger, and each cell page (The Nightingales, Talonfall, The Anvil, The Hearthwardens, The Broken Latch) carries its own shelf of it.
New letters join the ledger on their own: create the letter's page with Template:Correspondence at the top and every table on the wiki picks it up.
The ledger
| Date | Letter | Sent by | To | What it says | How it travelled |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Hammer 3, 1489 | Scales Letter: Founding the Hearthwardens | Declan Winterhound | Karma | The letter that stood up The Hearthwardens on Karma's elevation to Balancewarden: mollify, forage, and tend, why the crew carries no weapons and never will, and what a rebuilt village is worth afterward. | Two days behind the wagon that brought the crew and the timber up to Nuts Deep |
| Hammer 4, 1489 | Harper Dispatch: Boareskr Bridge | Hesk Amberlane, road-desk, Berdusk | Gootcha | Varram the White was seen at Boareskr Bridge in the last tenday of Uktar, fourth-hand through the drover Pell Marrowick. With it, the bridge's history and the 1450 disappearance of High Overseer Tamal Thent — same ground, same house. | New writing in Gootcha's Harper book, in a cramped, numbered hand |
| Hammer 5, 1489 | Gauntlet Writ: Founding the Anvil | Ontharr Frume | Xanphina | The writ that lent The Anvil to the new Hammer of Light: hold, escort, and lend, why these four were picked for reliability over skill, and a plain warning that the lance will die trying rather than report failure. | Handed over at the gate by Knight-Sergeant Bertrand Kell, with the roster and an itemised account of what the lance ate on the way |
| Hammer 6, 1489 | Harper Letter: Founding the Nightingales | Leosin Erlanthar | Gootcha | The letter that stood up The Nightingales on Gootcha's elevation to Ciphermaster: how the notebook works, one question at a time, four agents and where to stand them, and a standing ask to file what the company finds. | Carried up from Elturel by a courier who would not come inside the walls and would not give a name |
| Hammer 6, 1489 | Talons Note: Founding Talonfall | Corwyth Skarn | Keyleth | The note that stood up Talonfall on Keyleth's elevation to Scaled Bane: watching, guiding, and the cull, the cull's true cost in lives, and why Brannoc Yew asked for the burnings. | Tied to a hawk's leg, written small on bark-paper; Nettle and four others were already in the treeline |
| Hammer 9, 1489 | Zhentarim Instruction: An Asset at the Bridge | The Zhentarim | Shade | Recruit a standing asset at Boareskyr Bridge: a trader who can move goods — and, when needed, people — for the Black Network, off the books. | Passed through The Broken Latch's channels; nothing on paper |
| Hammer 9, 1489 | Harper Dispatch: A Source at the Bridge | Leosin Erlanthar | Gootcha | Leave a standing Harper source at Boareskyr Bridge — the network has nobody on the Trade Way north of the Chionthar — and have the 1450 guest ledger copied for the Archives. | Copied into the notebook by Merrivet from a letter up from Berdusk, burned afterward |
| Hammer 10, 1489 | Dawnbringer Charge: The Foreseen Artifact | The Dawnbringers | Baelgrum | The order's divination circle has seen that Baelgrum's road passes near an artifact of importance to the Temple of Lathander — what or where, the seers cannot say. Keep his senses peeled, and bring it back when found. | Delivered by the order during the week of faction business at Nuts Deep |
| Hammer 14, 1489 | Talons Letter: To Nettle | Keyleth | Nettle of Talonfall | Thanks for holding Talonfall steady, and a request: find a quiet path for the enclosed letter to King Melendrak, through Immeril Stagwatch's old channels. | Sent south with a returning drover, folded for the treeline north of Nuts Deep |
| Hammer 14, 1489 | Talons Letter: To King Melendrak | Keyleth | King Melendrak of the Misty Forest | An appeal for information rather than forces: whatever the Misty Forest has recorded of Tiamat, dragon behavior, and Cult movement, traded for what Talonfall learns in return. | Inside the letter to Nettle, then passed to Immeril Stagwatch on the Misty Forest approaches; no seal |
| Hammer 14, 1489 | Nightingale Dispatch: Eyes at the Bridge | Gootcha | The Nightingales' archive | Five items filed from the bridge: the dead yuan-ti operative and the sketch of Varam, spies watching for him, his course north and north-east, the cold Dragon Breath orb, and Othovir recruited as a standing source. | The cell's notebook, into Merrivet Ashcombe's archive at Nuts Deep |
| Hammer 17, 1489 | Harper Reply: The Najara Question | Leosin Erlanthar | Gootcha | Berdusk holds nothing that explains yuan-ti interest in Varram, and Leosin will not guess. Othovir approved, and a standing instruction: send back anything bearing on the serpentfolk acting as one body, under the name Najara. | Wrote itself into the notebook overnight, in Merrivet's small copying hand |
| Hammer 24, 1489 | Nightingale Dispatch: The Serpent's Prisoner | Gootcha | The Nightingales' archive | Varum confirmed captured and alive — scried under interrogation by a serpent-bodied priest. Devils travel with the wyrmspeaker's party, less than a day ahead; a dead Harper agent's pin and cipher notebook recovered from a peryton nest. A new question posed: Najara's leadership. | The cell's notebook; the recovered pin and cipher notebook follow separately for the archives |
| Hammer 24, 1489 | Nightingale Letter: The Najara Watch | Gootcha | Leosin Erlanthar | The Najara warning looks increasingly well-founded: organized yuan-ti activity aimed specifically at Varum is confirmed, and the wyrmspeaker is verified held and interrogated by serpentfolk leadership. No sign yet that the yuan-ti want what they first appear to want. | The cell's notebook, alongside the archive filing |
