The Harpers' Read
An ice troll is a troll the cold has claimed — every bit as relentless and self-mending as its lowland cousin, but inured to frost and quick to deal it. Everything true of a Troll holds here: fire or acid to keep it down, or it rises. Do not waste cold against it, and do not let the frost on its claws distract you from the only thing that matters — burning each wound shut.
Encounters of Record
The company found them deep in Oyaviggaton as the wardens of Arauthator, patrolling the ice tunnels and guarding the captive Maccath the Crimson (48).
